Privacy Policy

Reveal Room is a product of K-Rae Images LLC ("Reveal Room," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Reveal Room mobile application, the Reveal Room website, customer support, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Our Privacy Approach

Reveal Room is designed so that photographers can work with client images without sending that creative content to Reveal Room's analytics systems.

• A Reveal Room email account is not required.

• Projects, client photographs, thumbnails, ratings, notes, Wall designs, logos, music, and exports are stored and processed on your device unless you intentionally export, share, back up, or import them through a service you choose.

• Reveal Room does not use Firebase Storage to store your photographs or project content.

• App analytics and crash reporting remain off until you confirm your choice in the app.

• We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

2. Information Handled by the Mobile App

Information stored locally on your device

The app stores the content needed to provide its features, which may include:

• Client photographs and thumbnails;

• Project and gallery information;

• Image selections, ratings, notes, and ordering;

• Room photographs, Wall designs, measurements, calibration information, and artwork layouts;

• Studio logos and branding;

• Imported music and slideshow settings; and

• Created or exported slideshow files.

This content remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it, import it from a third-party provider, or your Apple device settings cause it to be included in an iCloud or device backup. Apple handles iCloud and device backups under Apple's privacy terms and your Apple Account settings.

Deleting Reveal Room may delete locally stored projects and files from that device. Information contained in a device backup may remain until the backup is deleted or expires under the applicable provider's practices.

Optional app analytics

Reveal Room uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used and improve its features. Analytics collection is disabled until you confirm an analytics choice in the app. If you choose Share App Analytics, Reveal Room may collect limited, non-content information such as:

• App launches and sessions;

• App version, operating-system version, device type, and general technical information;

• Feature and screen categories used;

• General workflow events;

• Aggregate counts, such as project, image-import, slideshow, or export totals;

• Approximate local-storage totals associated with Reveal Room;

• General performance information; and

• Coarse geographic or regional information derived by the service provider from network information.

Reveal Room does not set an Analytics user ID. No Reveal Room account, name, or email address is attached to these analytics reports. Firebase may use app-scoped installation or session identifiers to distinguish app installations and sessions. These identifiers are not used by Reveal Room to identify you by name or email.

Analytics events are designed not to include photographs, client information, filenames, project names, notes, ratings, logos, music, exported content, or other information you type into the app.

Optional crash diagnostics

If you choose Share App Analytics, Reveal Room also uses Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash and diagnostic reports. These reports may include:

• Crash stack traces and error information;

• App version and operating-system version;

• Device model, device state, available memory, and available storage;

• Crashlytics installation, Firebase installation, and session identifiers; and

• Technical breadcrumbs using approved, non-content event names.

Crash reports are designed not to contain your name, email address, client photographs, filenames, project names, notes, ratings, or other user-entered content. Reveal Room does not attach a user ID or other direct account identifier to Crashlytics reports.

Your analytics choice

On the final introduction screen, Reveal Room presents Share App Analytics and Not Now. Nothing is sent to Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics until you finish the introduction and confirm your selection.

• Choosing Share App Analytics enables both Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.

• Choosing Not Now keeps both services disabled.

• You can change the setting later under Account > Share App Analytics.

• Turning the setting off stops future Analytics and Crashlytics collection and deletes crash reports still waiting on the device to be sent.

Turning the setting off does not automatically delete reports already transmitted to Google. Those reports are retained and deleted according to our configured settings and Google's applicable retention practices. Because the reports are not attached to a Reveal Room account, name, or email address, we may not be able to locate a particular report as belonging to you.

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

Apple processes Reveal Room subscriptions and payments through the App Store. Reveal Room may receive subscription and entitlement information needed to provide access, such as the product selected, subscription status, transaction identifiers, purchase or renewal dates, expiration status, and cancellation or refund status.

Reveal Room does not receive your full payment-card number, bank-account information, or Apple Account password. Apple handles payment and Apple Account information under Apple's Privacy Policy.

Deleting Reveal Room does not cancel an active subscription. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.

4. Apple Photos, Dropbox, and User-Directed Sharing

If you grant access to Apple Photos, Reveal Room uses that permission to let you select images for local use in the app. You can change Photos access through your device settings.

If you choose to connect or import from Dropbox, Dropbox processes authentication and file requests under Dropbox's Privacy Policy. Reveal Room downloads only the files you select for use in the app. Selected file contents are not sent to Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.

When you export or share content, the destination you select may receive and process that content under its own privacy practices. Reveal Room does not control a third-party service after you direct content to it.

5. Website Information

When you visit revealroomapp.com, our website and its service providers may process information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, date and time, and basic server logs.

The website may also use Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the site. Website analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and may process information such as pages viewed, interactions, approximate region, browser or device information, and referral source. Website analytics are separate from the Share App Analytics setting inside the Reveal Room mobile app. You can use browser controls, content blockers, or Google's available opt-out tools to limit website analytics where supported.

If you submit a beta application, contact form, email signup, or other website form, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, studio information, message, and any other submitted responses. We use it to respond, manage the requested program or communication, and maintain appropriate business records.

6. Customer Support and Communications

If you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, the contents of your request, and any attachments or technical information you voluntarily provide. We use this information to respond and troubleshoot.

Please do not send confidential client photographs or sensitive client information unless it is necessary and specifically requested for support.

7. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;

• Confirm subscriptions, restore purchases, and provide paid features;

• Understand feature adoption and general product performance when analytics are enabled;

• Diagnose crashes and technical problems when crash reporting is enabled;

• Respond to support requests and other communications;

• Operate and improve the website;

• Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents; and

• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

8. Service Providers and Disclosure

We may provide limited information to companies that perform services on our behalf, including:

• Google LLC, through Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, when app analytics sharing is enabled;

• Google LLC, for website analytics when used on the website;

• Apple Inc., for App Store purchases, subscriptions, device permissions, and Apple services you choose to use;

• Dropbox, Inc., when you choose to connect to or import from Dropbox; and

• Website hosting, form, email, and customer-support providers used to operate the Services.

These providers process information under their own terms, privacy notices, and contractual obligations. Learn more through Firebase's Privacy and Security information and Google's Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect the rights and safety of users or others, investigate fraud or security issues, enforce our agreements, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets subject to appropriate safeguards.

9. No Sale, Advertising, or Cross-App Tracking

Reveal Room does not sell personal information. Reveal Room does not use Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics for third-party advertising, does not use Apple's advertising identifier for these services, and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising or data-broker purposes.

10. Data Retention

Local app content remains on your device until you delete it, delete the project, or delete the app, subject to backups you control.

We retain support messages, website submissions, and business records only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain financial records, and comply with law.

Google retains Analytics information according to the settings for our Analytics properties and Google's applicable terms. Google states that Firebase Crashlytics retains crash stack traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained longer where permitted.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Because client projects and photographs are stored locally, you are responsible for protecting your device, maintaining appropriate backups, controlling device access, and using client content in accordance with your own agreements and legal obligations.

12. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may:

• Choose Not Now when asked about app analytics;

• Disable or re-enable Analytics and Crashlytics through Account > Share App Analytics;

• Control Photos and other device permissions through Apple device settings;

• Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account;

• Use browser settings or other available controls to limit website cookies and analytics; and

• Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that Reveal Room can reasonably identify as belonging to you.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or receive a portable copy of qualifying information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may retain information where permitted or required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Anonymous app analytics and crash reports are not connected to a Reveal Room account, name, or email address. As a result, Reveal Room may not be able to identify or retrieve a particular report in response to an individual request. You can always stop future collection through the app setting.

13. Legal Bases for Certain Regions

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information with your consent, as needed to perform a contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as operating, securing, supporting, and improving the Services. You may withdraw consent for app analytics at any time through the app setting. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

14. Children's Privacy

Reveal Room is a professional business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

15. International Processing

Information handled by our service providers may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal information.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Reveal Room changes. We will post the revised policy and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when required.
