  1. CLIENT PHOTOGRAPHS AND PROJECT INFORMATION

Reveal Room is designed as an on-device presentation and sales application for photographers and other creative professionals.

Depending on the features you use, Reveal Room may process:

• Client names and project information
• Imported photographs
• Room photographs
• Thumbnails and working image copies
• Image selections and ratings
• Client notes
• Wall-art layouts and dimensions
• Photographer logos
• User-selected music or audio
• Exported slideshow films
• App preferences and settings

These files are used to provide the app’s presentation, image-selection, slideshow, and wall-art visualization features.

Reveal Room does not operate a server that stores or remotely displays your client photographs. Reveal Room personnel cannot remotely access photographs stored inside the application on your device.

Reveal Room does not sell client photographs, use them for advertising, or use them to train artificial-intelligence models.

  1. ON-DEVICE STORAGE

Reveal Room project files are stored within the application’s private storage area on your Apple device.

The application relies on Apple’s application sandbox, device security, and supported file-protection features to help prevent unauthorized access. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and users remain responsible for protecting their devices with a strong passcode and other available security features.

Anyone who can access an unlocked device may potentially be able to view information available inside the application.

  1. ICLOUD BACKUP AND APPLE SERVICES

Although Reveal Room does not upload client photographs to a Reveal Room-operated server, project files stored on your device may be included in your personal iCloud Backup if iCloud Backup is enabled.

Apple controls the storage, security, location, retention, and deletion of information maintained through iCloud and other Apple services.

If you save a slideshow or another exported file to Apple Photos, Files, iCloud Drive, or another destination, an additional copy is created outside Reveal Room. If iCloud Photos or another synchronization service is enabled, that copy may sync to Apple’s servers and other devices connected to your account.

You control these Apple services through your device and Apple account settings. Apple’s handling of information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies and terms.

  1. IMPORTED FILES AND THIRD-PARTY STORAGE PROVIDERS

Reveal Room may allow you to select files through Apple Photos or the iOS Files interface. Files selected through Files may originate from iCloud Drive or a third-party file provider available on your device.

Reveal Room processes only the files you choose to import. The company providing the original storage location may continue to retain and process its own copy according to its policies and your account settings.

Importing a file into Reveal Room does not automatically delete the original from Apple Photos, Files, iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, or another source.

If direct connections with additional storage services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those connections are made publicly available.

  1. IMAGE METADATA

Photographs can contain metadata such as filenames, dimensions, capture dates, camera information, and location information.

Reveal Room may read limited metadata necessary to organize, display, process, or identify imported photographs. Where supported by the production version of the application, Reveal Room may remove GPS location and unnecessary identifying metadata from working copies created by the application.

Reveal Room does not modify or delete the original photograph stored in the source location from which it was imported.

Users should independently review the metadata contained in any file they export, share, or save outside Reveal Room.

  1. IMAGE PROCESSING AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Supported image-processing and room-segmentation functions are designed to operate on the user’s device using Apple-provided technologies.

Reveal Room does not send client photographs to an external artificial-intelligence provider for model training. Reveal Room does not use client photographs to train its own artificial-intelligence models.

If this practice changes in the future, Reveal Room will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice or consent required by law before implementing the change.

  1. WEBSITE HOSTING AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The Reveal Room website is hosted by Framer.

When you visit the website, Framer and its infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information necessary to deliver, secure, and maintain the website. This may include:

• Internet Protocol address

Reveal Room does not currently use this information to build advertising profiles or sell information about website visitors.

Framer’s handling of information is governed by the Framer Privacy Statement:

https://www.framer.com/legal/privacy-statement

Reveal Room will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required choices before adding advertising pixels or materially different tracking technologies.

  1. MAILERLITE AND EMAIL MARKETING

Reveal Room uses MailerLite to operate its launch list, maintain subscriber information, and send email communications.

When you submit a Reveal Room signup form, MailerLite may process your name, email address, professional role, signup information, IP address, device information, and interaction information associated with the form or emails.

MailerLite processes this information on Reveal Room’s behalf and may use its own service providers as described in its policies.

MailerLite’s Privacy Policy is available at:

You may unsubscribe at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link at the bottom of a Reveal Room marketing email. You may also contact Reveal Room to request removal.

  1. APPLE SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES

When the Reveal Room app becomes available, subscriptions and in-app purchases may be processed by Apple through the App Store.

Reveal Room does not receive your complete payment-card number. Apple may provide limited purchase information necessary to confirm subscription status, restore purchases, manage access to purchased features, prevent fraud, and provide support.

Apple controls payment processing, billing information, and applicable payment records according to Apple’s policies.

Reveal Room does not sell personal information.

Reveal Room does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  1. WHEN INFORMATION MAY BE DISCLOSED

Information may be disclosed:

• To service providers such as Framer and MailerLite when necessary to provide their services
• To Apple in connection with App Store distribution, payments, device services, or user-directed Apple features
• When you direct Reveal Room to share or export information
• When required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request
• When reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the public
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the Reveal Room product or K-Rae Images LLC, subject to applicable privacy obligations

Reveal Room does not permit service providers to use information supplied by Reveal Room for their own unrelated advertising purposes.

  1. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

App Projects

Project files remain on your device until you delete them, delete the application, erase the device, or otherwise remove the files.

Deleting a project is intended to remove files maintained inside that project. Exported films, copies saved to Photos or Files, source photographs, shared copies, and backup copies may remain separately and may need to be deleted separately.

Deleting Reveal Room from a device generally removes the application’s local container from that device. Copies contained in iCloud Backup or another service may remain according to that provider’s retention practices.

Launch List

Launch-list information is retained while you remain subscribed or while reasonably necessary to maintain consent and suppression records. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Support Requests

Support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot recurring problems, comply with legal obligations, and maintain appropriate business records.

  1. DATA SECURITY

Reveal Room uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information it handles.

However, no device, storage system, email service, website, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for securing their devices, accounts, passwords, source-storage providers, exported files, and backup settings.

  1. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Request access to personal information maintained about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of certain information
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Receive a portable copy of certain information
• Appeal certain privacy-request decisions
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Lodge a complaint with an applicable privacy authority

Reveal Room will not discriminate against you for exercising a legally protected privacy right.

To submit a request, email revealroomapp@gmail.com. Reveal Room may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Because most Reveal Room app projects are stored only on your device, Reveal Room generally cannot remotely access, retrieve, correct, or delete those local files. You can manage them directly through the application and your device.

  1. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Reveal Room website and application are intended for adults and creative professionals. They are not directed to children under 13, and Reveal Room does not knowingly collect website or account information directly from children under 13.

Professional users may import photographs depicting children when they have the necessary permission to do so. Those photographs are treated as user-provided content and, under the current local-first architecture, are not uploaded to a Reveal Room-operated server.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly to Reveal Room, contact revealroomapp@gmail.com.

  1. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Framer, MailerLite, Apple, and their service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different privacy laws.

Where required, providers may use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.

  1. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The website or application may link to third-party websites or services. Reveal Room is not responsible for the privacy, content, security, or practices of third parties. Review their policies before providing information.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Reveal Room may update this Privacy Policy as the website, application, services, or legal requirements change.

The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the application, website, or email when appropriate.
